Well known platform with lots of users. Great to post updates and polls. Is very accessible to all. Is considered a bit slow in terms of social media.

Great for quick updates or short videos. Easy to navigate and widely used. Can be hard for newcomers to understand all the lingo used since the word count is short on tweets. 

Kind of the do it all for community platforms. You can share files, have chat rooms, and link outside articles. It does take a bit to learn. The community also can get to crowed with different room categories. 

Acts like a giant group text. Great for quick notes or questions. Very easy to set up. It is mainly just for mobile, not pc. 

This is not a community in the normal sense. It is a place developers can post the code they are working on for the project to give updates. Also, several projects let others go through the code to look for errors. Easy to access and search through but you will need to have coding experience to be able to follow what is going on.
